This ODT file contains the short essay What Happiness Is by Archbishop Nathanial (Lvov). He talks briefly about the world's version of happiness, what it really means, notes that it isn't found in Scripture, and hints that is actually immoral. But the majority of the essay is about the true happiness that comes from Christ, combined with a simple, mild polemic to demonstarete that it is indeed Christ, not some idea of a reward, Who Causes Christians' joy. Archbishop Nathanial isn't nearly as strong as St. Seraphim of Platina when it comes to exposing the ideas of happiness and "fun", but rather gently invites the reader to consider the meaning of the Christian attitude. I've had a copy of this essay since January 10, 2013.
